Yeh they opened the season this year is the first year. Its kinda a double edged sword I don't like em killed but when I get them in I use everything. You had to be wolf clan in Tsalagi to kill a wolf though.

Hmm I could be wrong but when researching the 7 clans online it mentioned something about having certain customs and prayers that needed to be done before taking a wolf brother. I am just starting to learn my heritage en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cherokee_Clans and do eastern band diff from Oaklahoma maybe this page is refering to Oaklahoma tribes??? I'm pretty open to my elders please correct me in my errors I am here to learn.

I would trust Katey over wiki or other yonega contaminated sources. The euros have twisted the history and stories of all NDNs to their own ends since the invasion. It seems that the "civilized tribes" like the jalagi were especially targeted. As an aside there were originally 13 matrilineal clans plus the kutani and the adawehi, while it is true that not all villages had representatives of all clans (those villages were called a word that basically meant unaligned). There was no eastern band prior to the trail where they cried. They are the descendents of Jalagi who refused to leave and hid in the mountains of North Carolina instead. However, over time their language and the western dialect have diverged as have their traditions.
However, clan affiliation was predominant in Jalagi life. I have no knowledge of Wolf Clans and their traditions it is no surprise that they would have specialized rules about wolves. I know there were rules about rattlesnakes and eagles for example.

lol..no..I picked up "NDN" when I first joined the newagefraud.org watch group. they used it..I just picked it up. Jalagi..chalagi..or my personal preference tsalagi ...merely unega efforts at mimicking the sound.
but qualla is the name of the land trust (not a reservation) that was purchased on behalf of the cherokees whose descendants live there.
The cherokees were a dominant people..hundreds of villages in nearly 3/4 of a million square miles of land, georgia, tenn, sc. nc, even parts of va. they are cherokee..and while there are some differences in the dialects..there is still a tremendous overlap.

Well I know I read a rule somewhere about not putting up a link to a commercial website I'm not sure seems how I have a business license to sell these items and a taxidermist license I've become addicted to this site these days I don't want not be able to visit it.
